How to report

Every message on the Pointless Wall has a Report button. Choose a reason (hate speech, racism, homophobia, threats, harassment, sexual content, illegal content, spam or other) and add any detail. You need to be signed in to report, so we can follow up and prevent abuse of the report button.

What happens next

• Reported messages are flagged to our moderation team immediately
• Messages with several reports are hidden automatically pending review
• A moderator reviews the message and either restores or removes it
• Serious or repeated breaches result in the account being banned

Illegal content

Anything illegal is removed and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police on 999.
